The Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG) is an industry group representing over 145 utility companies, counties and cities throughout the U.S., Canada, China, South Africa, Pakistan, Japan, and the Caribbean that exchange information related to the implementation and application of the Maximo asset management system. Two workshops are held each year, one in the summer, and the other in winter and Genesis has been one of the key supporting vendors of the conference for a number of years. Today there are very few forums for individuals to showcase the methods they are embracing in an effort to leverage the latest technology to optimize their company’s facilities, monitor and lower equipment costs, bench mark key indicators and eliminate costly repairs.  This exchange of information is designed to optimize the use of Maximo’s capabilities in the Facilities Environment. The integrated principles of business methods, administration, and practices of architecting, planning, and maintaining buildings, grounds, systems, and quality customer service needs to create optimal work environments. This meeting will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas, share visions, problem-solve, and take home a fresh new look at the best-practices for your organization.

Pacific Northwest Maximo Users is a regional group of professionals who support and/or use IBM® Maximo in the workplace as well as business partners who provide support related to Maximo. Our membership spans multiple states and provinces in USA and Canada as well as the various industries in which Maximo is used. The SCMUG values the personal and professional opinions of all types of Maximo users, from the Operational and Technical Management through the end users of the data systems.
