A major nuclear power company was in the process of upgrading their aging CMMS packages at three of their major facilities. The primary reasons for upgrading to the new release involved consolidation, standardization, and effectiveness of their maintenance applications.
Genesis Role
Genesis was recruited in the middle of the project implementation to provide expertise in the design, configuration, and deployment of the Maximo application. Genesis was able to review and refine several system requirements to improve the performance of the resulting application. Several opportunities were discovered to improve the previous applications utilization and approach to asset management. Genesis was able to take advantage of new organizational functionality to harmonize usage and integration between multiple facilities. New automated workflows were developed to increase efficiency and provide notifications to resources throughout the maintenance organization. Genesis also developed and provided training to the core team and selected subject matter experts to prepare them to deploy the application throughout the selected sites.
