A major Canadian Regional Municipality had recently completed installation of a new Maximo CMMS System. After completing the implementation for the Water Waste Water Division, they were looking to do some analysis on additional divisions to see what the benefits may be in adding them to the new system. Genesis completed two additional division assessments and provided recommendations for adding the divisions to the existing Maximo System. During this effort the next version of Maximo was released and in order to better position the CMMS System to add additional divisions as well as future integrations the decision was made to upgrade to the latest version being MX6.2 at the time. Genesis was asked to help provide the technical and process support for the upgrade and the upgrade was successfully completed in the fall of 2007.
