A Senior Systems Analyst works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on project implementation, integration, enhancement or other projects assigned. Duties are usually performed at a customer site. This person works under minimal supervision on mid to large-sized tasks and projects involving multiple products or platforms.
Possible project responsibilities include:
The on-site design, development and installation of complex computerized maintenance management systems like Maximo and SAP, including add-on products and modules;
Project specification, programming, testing, documentation, installation and user training;
Leading or participating in periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan;
And developing or assisting in developing and refining forecasts for project variables as necessary throughout the project.
Basic requirements:
5+ years of experience of implementing and programming CMMS/ERP systems like Maximo and SAP.
Extensive technical knowledge of programming integration between CMMS/ERP systems, database platforms, customer-server software, and various legacy systems.
Programming experience with JAVA, C, C++, PL/SQL, and other RDB languages.
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
Previous consulting experience is a plus.
Experience in customer-server application development environment.
