Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG) – Spring 2015 Workshop

Where: Columbia, South Carolina (Hosted by SCANA Corporation)

When: May 12 - 14, 2015

The Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG) is an industry group representing over 145 utility companies, counties and cities throughout the US, Canada, China, South Africa, Pakistan, Japan, and the Caribbean that exchange information related to the implementation and application of the IBM Maximo Asset Management software application. Two workshops are held each year, one in the Spring, the other in Fall. If you are a licensed Maximo user and meet the criteria of the charter you can attend a workshop.

Representatives will be available to discuss how we “Put Maximo Work History to Work” by strengthening Asset Reliability Programs by leveraging and improving the data available in Maximo. AFPM 2015 Reliability & Maintenance Conference

When: May 19 - 22, 2015

Where: Austin, Texas

This year’s 4-day program focuses on operating company cases studies and includes keynote addresses, technical and management presentations, discussion groups, and an exhibition of products and services. Presentations focus on improving reliability in the refining and petrochemical industry, covering topics such as effective maintenance organization, productivity, equipment reliability, health and safety, training, predictive / preventive maintenance, maintenance and engineering standards, inspection, and innovative reliability technology.

The Exhibition, held as part of the conference, gives attendees the opportunity to meet and talk with representatives from companies offering a variety of goods and services to the refining and petrochemical industries.
